About the event
The Cape Town Concert Series 2025 celebrates 70 years of music making with an ‘extra’ concert in collaboration with the SA Collage of Music featuring the Charl du Plessis Trio and Maestro Richard Cock. Bach, Beethoven & Boogie will showcase some unique and exciting music, with arrangements of music by Bach, Vivaldi, Beethoven, Mozart as well as Oscar Peterson, Duke Ellington and Astor Piazzolla. The Charl du Plessis Trio features Werner Spies (bass) and Peter Auret (drums). The After raving reviews of this concert in Johannesburg, Bloemfontein and Pretoria the music now comes to Cape Town’s Baxter Concert Hall on Tuesday 10 June at 7pm
